We have came a long way with this vet, they are the best!! They always make sure to go through all the options before going down the route of surgery. They truly are the best at what they do and they’ve help me and my little guy so much!

If you want to be in the room to meet the Dr and see them do the exam on your animal don’t go here. I scheduled an initial appointment and had to pay $65 to get the appointment and when they were ready for my dog they tried to take my dog back without me which I was not ok with. If I had known that I would not have made the appointment. They said that was just their policy and offered no other solution. They didn’t offer to refund me my money until I called and complained later. Not quality care in my opinion if they are afraid to have the owner in the room when they do the exam.

I’m very disappointed and enraged after my experience today. I set up a wellness check for my aging dog 2 weeks ago. After sitting on a very uncomfortable bench for 40 minutes, they came to take my dog to the back for the exam. I told them I preferred to be there for the exam and didn’t want to add to the stress my dog was already experiencing. They said that due to staffing and scheduling, they don’t do in room visits anymore. The lack of consideration and customer service infuriates me!! I’ve always liked Dr. Miner as a vet, but he lost a client today.

There's no other VET in SLO County who knows Frenchies like Dr. Brian Minor. He is an excellent VET with an excellent staff.

Dr. Minor is the most compassionate, thorough, explanatory, communicative veterinarian we’ve come across. A kind, wonderful human being. He’s also always trying to save his customers on costs. His staff are equally wonderful. What a world-class operation we are fortunate to have here. He will be an institution here for a long time. We are eternally grateful for their services.
