Countryside Veterinary Hospital

I posted a review not too long ago and removed it because I wanted to give countryside a second chance. I’m unsure what happened but things have gone downhill here very fast. I don’t know if it’s new management or what. I’ve had several terrible experiences lately with my dog and so has my mom with her cat. At one point, my dog was given a vaccine she DIDN'T NEED, which I am lucky didn’t kill or injure my dog. They send me emails telling me she is due for things she’s already had. They tried to send my mother a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE in the MAIL for her cat (which is illegal!) and they seemed confused as to why they couldn’t do that. Several times now I’ve gone in and been sitting in a waiting room for 30+ minutes only to then sit in an exam room for another hour. I even had to get up and le

If I could rate it zero stars I would. My friend and I were dog sitting for one if their patients and the dog was dying. We called ahead as we were driving to the office and told them the situation. They asked if we had contacted the dogs owner and I told them she was out of the country. They told us that they couldn't treat the dog without the owners permission. Luckily, my friend was on on the approved list and skeptically, they allowed us to bring the dog in. Despite giving them all of the patient information, once we arrived, the doctor asked basic questions that was contained in her chart. The dog was 16 years on and had been going to this vet since she was 6 m months old. A brief glance at her file and she could have saved 15 minutes. The doctor offered to keep the dog on some typ

I LOVE this place! My cat recently had surgery and I cannot recommend Kaitlyn enough. She is fabulous & made me feel as relaxed as I could throughout the process. I also take my dog to get groomed here so that’s a plus to have a vet & a groomer at the same time! They always get me in quickly for vet appointments too. Highly recommend!

Countryside is a wonderful place to bring your pets. The veterinarian inside has great doctors and assistants. The boarding side has wonderful workers is that truly care about your pets. I would highly recommend both to anyone! 👍👍👍👍

Big shoutout to Dr. Robinson and the great staff for caring! Traveling thru Alabama we made a pit stop for our pets, our lab mix 3yr. old pup caught his nail on the door getting in. It was rip partially off we called the office and appt was made promptly. With in the hour Reuben was seen, nail removed, instructions and medications given and we were on way.
