I was born and raised in Paintsville. I now live 5 hours away. When our fur babies are in need of a Vet for something small, i do take them to the vet at home (due to being so far away). But when it comes to any of them needing something that’s more then flea & tick meds/not feeling well or under the weather… I trust Dr. Caudill more than any of our local vets! So I will drive the 5 hours one way to bring them to see Dr. Caudill (or Derek as I have known him as, my entire life). I trust him fully with all of our fur babies! All around great person & veterinarian! Office staff is wonderful, office is very clean and doesn’t smell. Prices are also great! What would have cost us a little over $1,000.00 at our local vets, only cost us $200 with Dr. Caudill. Just goes to show what a caring perso
They service here was Awesome. The receptionist was friendly and understanding while I was having a breakdown from lack of sleep. The Doctor was nice and reassuring and was quickly able to figure out what was wrong. The nurse were sweet and friendly and genuinely enjoyed taking care of my Scoob. I think the staff here are exceptional and and genuinely care about animals. I will continue bring my animals here in the future.
My dad, David Bennett, asked that I put in this review for him. He said that Countryside Veterinary Clinic was wonderful to his dog, Ringo. Ringo had a growth on his foot that Dr. Caudill removed. My dad lives in NC and drove 3 hours to Dr. Caudill's office. He said he would do it again. Dr. Caudill removed the growth and charged him only $130.00. The vet here in NC was asking around $1100.00 to remove it. Dr. Caudill saved him nearly $800.00 and did a wonderful job on Ringo. He would highly recommend Dr. Caudill and his wonderful staff to anyone one.
We were told on the phone that they didn't take appointments. We arrived to find the parking lot full, and lots of people and dogs wandering around and waiting outside. We did not have time to spend several hours waiting, just to get our dog a rabies shot. So we gave up, and left. They might be good vets, guess we'll never know!
The best vet in the area. Took very good care of our dog and the service was very reasonable.
