Countryside Animal Hospital

I have been taking my menagerie of animals to Countryside for well over 25 years... the staff is thoughtful, kind, and treats me and my animals with dignity, respect, professionalism.... while also loving on them. Dr Pringle is remarkable with in-depth explanations of what is happening in a way that a non-vet person understands. All of the vet techs are amazing and have helped me through some of the most difficult and heartbreaking decisions I have had to make regarding my pets health and well-being. I highly recommend!

We had our first visit at Countryside Animal Hospital in Alachua, and it was outstanding. The experience from start to finish was superb. The entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely kind to both us and our dog. They took the time to answer our questions, made us feel comfortable and handled everything with professionalism and care. What really stood out was how affordable the visit was without sacrificing quality. It’s clear they truly care about the animals and the families they serve. We’re so grateful to have found such a trustworthy veterinary team right here in Alachua and will absolutely be coming back.

One of my dogs had surgery there yesterday, they are not our regular vet but they were extremely accommodating and got us in right away. Dr Sturgeon and his staff were amazing. Great communication, an extremely fair price and I would highly recommend this vet's office to anyone that I know

After spending a ton of money with this vets office because my dog has a really bad growth inside his ear causing him excruciating pain(to the point we almost had him euthanized) I was told I’d get a call that afternoon after his appt or the next day about cost to have surgery. I Never received a call. I called a couple of days later to see what was going on and they said “oh that doctor is off the rest of the month”..like are you kidding me? Almost a week later they call me and still can’t let me know how much the procedure will be. Thankfully I did my own foot work and found a place that agreed to do this life saving procedure because Countryside Animal hospital obviously couldn’t care less about my dog they just wanted me to swipe my card. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselve

Best veterinary clinic ever!! I can't say enough good things about Countryside and Dr. Pringle. He is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain every aspect of my dog Stitch’s care. Since Stitch is reactive, the entire staff goes above and beyond to make him feel as comfortable as possible while still providing top-notch care. Dr. Pringle is also great at coming up with alternative treatment plans that accommodate Stitch’s behavioral needs, ensuring he gets the best care without added stress. I highly recommend this clinic for their compassion and expertise.
