Coronado Veterinary Hospital

We are from Canada and in Sierra Vista for the winter months. We had an unexpected urgent issue with our dog Cody late one evening. I called early the next morning and although they had no open appointments for that day, they were very caring and accommodating and fit Cody in and got him the care he needed. Dr Scott called twice to discuss his condition and provide updates. The next day we received a follow up call to make sure Cody was doing well. Thank you for taking such good care of our little buddy!!!

I had 2 dogs get bit by a rattlesnake on New Years holiday weekend. My vet was closed. I called other vets, but they couldn't fit me in. Coronado was booked too, but they squeezed me in as an emergency. I had never used them before. They treated both of my dogs, including antivenom and followed up the following day with more blood work to assure their blood values were returning to normal. The picture is after the swelling was substantially down, but you can see the terrible bite. The 2nd dog was bit inside the mouth. Veterinary service is expensive, but I paid less for both dogs to be well treated at Coronado, than I paid for the same treatment for one dog at the emergency clinic in Tucson. We were visiting family in Sierra Vista when our 8 month old puppy started crying and shaking her head. We took her Coronado Vet Clinic and they got her right in and found out she had a cactus spine on her ear drum. They sedated her and removed it and all was good. They were all compassionate and caring and I can’t recommend them enough.

Staff is very polite and friendly. Dr Lou took great care with my dog and spent time explaining her procedure and prognosis, a very good experience all around!
