Found my black lab puppy here, they even held her for me till I got my VA check( 100% disability). She is training to be my service dog(ptsd& physical assistance)She has already changed my life, wakes me from nitemares, helps me walk.In a way the shelter saved me from depression, Myla never leaves my side. Im so fortunate to connected with the shelter!

Very kind people. Came to adopt a cat and she picked out one she thought would work for my circumstances and gave me 3 pages of paperwork on what had been done with--it was very complete and turns out to be a great much loved kitty!

Mylo Maximus, aka Beefcakes, found a new forever home, found a new name and found his doggyness again thanks to the Coos County Animal Shelter. Appreciate all your efforts Deputy Gwen, good job.

We got a sweet 2 year old kitty here. We were given as much time as we wanted to get to know any/all the cats on our own. We're given a free vet visit voucher good for 10 days after adoption for vet of our choosing from a large local list. All the pets looked healthy and seemed content, not stressed. Cages clean with plenty of food/water. Also was the best price I'd found $97.00 for spayed/vaccinated/deformed healthy happy cat.

We have adopted two dogs and one was a puppy we had originally fostered, but we fell in love with him. All of the people who work at the shelter are wonderful...especially Chloé who goes above and beyond to fit the dog with the right home. They do an awesome job 👏
