Conrecode Kennel

I am not one to write reviews - especially not poor ones - but I will not be sending my dog here again and I would encourage others to stay away. I understand that dog kennels are not going to be the cleanest place in the world, but these were very disgusting. Strong smell of urine and feces in a dusty and very crowded old barn. There were tools about and pools of water (?) on the ground. My dog's water bowl was empty upon picking her up, and based on the amount of food she was dropped off with I do not think she was fed per instructions. Honestly, even when I arrived and saw the state of the property, I didn't want to leave my dog there - but I had a flight to catch and it was a very short trip, and everywhere else was booked. I my pit bull aka penny loved it . She behaved her self. Usually when I drop her off she don't eat . She did great. I gave he a bone and a blanket. She was in the kennels. I'll take her bed next time.

My pit has been here about 4 times and she’s almost a year old. She loves it here and seems like she never wants to leave. They are very accommodating and professional. I also love it because they take Pits and i know a lot of places don’t.

This is a home residence so I thought our dog would be in good hands. When we looked at the kennel it was smelly and dirty. There were 6 poodles in one pin and supposedly they were "show dogs" There was dog poop everywhere in the pin that held the 6 poodles. I was not impressed, but figured what the heck why not try it out. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our dog as long as needed and allowed us to return late. Our dog was not fed his evening meal, nor do I think he had much water because he drank 2 bowls once we got him home. She only charged $20 to leave him there 27 hours. I will not bring him back there, nor would I recommend others to Kennel their dogs with Conrecode Kennel.

Taking my dogs to a kennel during a busy holiday weekend was a last minute decision. I called several other kennels in the area, but everyone was booked. Conrecode Kennel had availability—now I see why no one booked with them 😣 June 30th—I took my dogs to a scheduled “Meet and Greet“ with the owner (that I suggested) She seemed to be both nice & caring when we got there. During the meet & greet, I mentioned to her that I had never taken my dogs to a kennel and the first thing she said was, “that’s okay, they‘re small, they can stay in the house with me…just bring their cage when you come along with their food and your payment!” —I said okay and this made me happy to know that my girls would be well taken care of in a family environment.
