Captain smells amazing! Connie did such a great job getting all his extra fluff off and trimming his nails perfectly. He looks and feels so clean and fresh — highly recommend her grooming services!

I went to Connie's Pet Peeves Grooming and Boarding for the very first time on January 22nd 2026. My cat had several knots in his fur and my 2 dogs needed nail trims. Connie is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. She made the process easy and affordable. I especially love that fact she's so local and my animals are happy! She earned a customer for life, highly recommend!

New to Connie's, referred by friends who highly recommended Kristin. I drove an hour to Gold Bar in search of a grooming place where all my dogs can be comfortable and have a good experience. Our last groomer of almost 20 years retired and it was like going to grandma's place for my dogs to get groomed. In other words, they are used to being treated with lots of love and kind hand. Kristin even helped fed food to one of them at noon. Their cuts were super cute, and they did not seem stressed when I picked them up. It was well worth my drive.

I just wanna get a shout out to Connie. You are truly amazing person. Since I’ve been taking my dog here, I absolutely love the way my dog looks. His name is Rollie. I had a friend that introduced me to Connie and I have no regrets. Thank you for making my dog look good. His haircut is so cute. Everybody loves it.

They do a great job here and our pup always looks great after a grooming! The prices are more than fair and my wife and I are always happy with the service eand the results.
