Companion Veterinary Care Center

First of all, trying to establish my pets as new patients was a nightmare. Once I sent in all documentation, I had to call back a week later to schedule the appointment because they never gave me a call back. I paid a $55 deposit to get my dog on their schedule. Fast forward, I end up missing the appointment due to a sick 1 year old at home. According to policy, only 1 human is allowed in room so I was not able to bring my baby with me and since he was sick, the babysitter would not come over. Not their problem, I get that. When I call to reschedule, they were not understanding at all. They tell me that I lost my $55 and in order to book another appointment, I will have to pay another $55 deposit. This is an amazing vet and the staff is always so welcoming to me and my fur babies. I truly believe it’s their favorite place. It’s not packed when I go and always a simple in and out appointment that don’t leave me broke

Friendly staff. The Veterinarian takes time to answer questions and really explain things. Prices are very good for Florence. I have taken several of my cats and am very pleased with the results. They really care and are not one of the corporate environments that just want to push for more tests.

Sadly we had to visit this Vet during an emergency. They were the closest to our gone when our cat stopped breathing. I was able to keep her alive with mouth to mouth until we got there, but her demise was inevitable unfortunately. Her lungs had filled with blood due to an unknown infection. The vet on duty was very fast in trying to treat her as we rushed through the door unannounced. They were very sympathetic and took care of her remains. I think we will be using their services for our remaining 4 cats in the future if we can. No, not crazy cat people, none of them were sought out by us, we just can't seem to let a stray go hungry or sleep out in the cold...

Refused service for my 6lb senior cat because she is aggressive. I already had meds for her to calm her down for the visit but they rejected her before i even had to chance to tell them. I was shocked that they are scared of a tiny cat. Don’t know how they are in business. Update to the response from companion.... The response that they gave is a lie. She was a previous patient to companion. When I first moved back to Florence I took her in to companion for a ck up. Maybe a year later is when the health issues started. Every time I tried to bring her in, companion could not see her for several days out. And with uti issues that can not wait. So I took her to another hospital.
