Companion Dog Training

Sue at Companion Dog Training was exactly what our family needed! She helped train me how to train my three dogs (two Beagle & one Lab), which improved our lives so much. The Beagle were very troublesome before we began working with Sue, yet they are now considered by our friends and family as being ‘the best dogs we’ve ever met’. Sue is incredible! Recommended by our vet, she has been the greatest support and teacher. Her in home visits are packed with knowledge and helpful training skills, followed up with phone calls, messages, and printed handouts. She is most accommodating when scheduling appointments and makes the most out of the time that she is with us answering all questions. Her goal is success and she does her very best to equip owners with the necessary tools to accomplish the goals you have for your pet. If you’re looking for the Ivy League trainer, Sue is it!

Sue was excellent to work with. She was very helpful when listening to our concerns and providing resources to help us. Our biggest concern was loose leash walking with our dog around others. She gave us a lot of support. After each session she would follow up with an email summarizing what we worked on and training links/resources for us to reference. Highly recommend!

Sue is excellent to work with, responds quickly, flexible scheduling and overall great experience with our pup Belle. A few times she brought her dog with her for playdates to socialize Belle to other dogs. Highly recommend individualize training sessions with Sue rather than group trainings elsewhere. She targets what you request for trainings, gives helpful suggestions and follows up with an email with educational videos and links..
