Color Country Animal Welfare

CCAW provided day care for my dog while I visited the National Park. This was the first time I've ever used anything like this and everything went very well. The indoor portion of the enclosures are a bit small but the dogs have the ability to go into the outside portion of their enclosure whenever they want. For my 25lb dog I felt that the size of the enclosure was just fine. For years I have had to avoid visiting official National Parks because I travel with my dog. It was so nice to be able to drop her off for ~8 hours so I could visit the areas of the park that don't allow pets. The facility was extremely clean and the pricing is very reasonable.

I first went to Color Country looking to foster to adopt another cat, I was looking to find a friend for my kitty at home. I couldn’t have gone to a better place! The staff here are so friendly and supportive. They provided everything I needed to take care of the cat while I was fostering. They were always available to chat on the phone about any issues/concerns I had while fostering too. Their support made the process so much easier for me, and today I officially adopted the cat I was fostering with them. I’m so happy to have welcomed her into my little family. Color Country’s space is beautiful and you could tell all their cats were well taken care of and happy, I’m sure that’s true for all the animals they care for. Dog boarding review: Really friendly staff and fair prices. Seems like my dogs were well cared for. Accommodates travelers. The kennels are a little small for a small/tall dog. Decent room, but my Greyhound scratched his back coming in and out of the doggy door. Otherwise solid experience.

Color Country Animal Welfare is a hidden gem! My wife and I stumbled upon this pet shelter during our cross-country journey. Despite driving an extra 1.3 hours from Interstate i-70, it was completely worth it. We found the most adorable kitten who now brings so much joy to our home. A huge thanks to Erika and the staff for their dedication to animal welfare. Highly recommend this shelter for those looking to give a loving home to a furry friend!

Terrific experience. I walked in the day before I needed daycare for my pups and got a great walk-thru by Lorelai. She was so thorough, super kind and definitely knew her stuff. The boarding/daycare setup is great with an indoor/outdoor spacious kennel and playtime and my dogs were super happy when I picked them up. Also loved that the daycare/boarding covers the cost of the rescue operation! Definitely want to adopt from them in the future.
