Collins Hospital for Animals

The staff is very personable and attentive, especially Jackie at the front desk. We have always had a good experience in witnessing the team carefully reviewing our precious cat’s records and bloodwork before seeing her. They were super gentle with our Isabel as well.

Only vet in DC I will take my girls! I have three cats with varying medical needs (one older lady, one with a heart murmur, one with tummy issues), and Dr. LaPorta makes a point to care for each of them to the highest degree! She's always been considerate with our time, transparent with pricing, and responsive. The front desk staff is prompt with email replies and always friendly! Truly the best vet in town.

It was my first visit to Collins Hospital. Ine of my guinea pigs wasn't feeling well, and I wanted her to see someone with experience with small animals. The vet and staff were very nice. They provided my baby with great care.

Price was reasonable. To treat my rabbit for an upper respiratory infection as a first time visit total was around $180 including medicines. Office is good at picking up and returning calls.

I have had a wonderful experience taking my cat, Dolly, to Collins. Dr. Fischer is kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. She made my cat feel comfortable. The other staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. My cat’s health has improved and I’m very happy!
