I honestly don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this place deserved one. I’m a newer client, but my family has brought their pets here for years, and now I completely understand why. This is hands down the best vet experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Pierce saw my new puppy today and was incredible. He’s one of the most down-to-earth, kind people you’ll meet, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the animals and the people bringing them in. He takes his time, talks you through everything, and never makes you feel rushed or pressured. It’s such a different experience from most vet offices. We can’t thank this clinic enough for saving our Great Dane, Nya. We live in the San Luis Valley, and our local vet couldn’t quite figure out what was wrong with her. They thought it might be gallstones and sent us home with medication to stimulate her appetite, saying they could “try exploratory surgery” later if things didn’t improve. We are so grateful for Dr. Pierce and the wonderful team at Collegiate Peaks. While visiting for the summer, we scheduled an exam for our 12.5 year old Akita with hip dysplasia. Dr. Pierce’s expertise with large breeds gave us valuable perspective, and he generously let us borrow a wheelchair his previous pup had used to see if it could help. Thanks to his kindness, our boy was able to enjoy walks again, and we now feel confident ordering one of our own. Dr. Pierce’s compassion and dedication gave our senior pup a better quality of life. It's one of the best vet hospitals i have been to. We had an emergency and could not find any help. They made time for us to bring out dog in who had had puppies and was not well. They kept her and helped her and were so caring to her and her puppies. They even looked at one little guy we were concerned about. We will continue to use this vet hospital for all of our vet needs.
