Colleen's Critter Care (Leslie, MI)

We had a great experience with Colleen’s care for our cats and hens. We got updates twice a day, often with videos of our happy cats playing with toys that Colleen had brought. She extended her care when we needed to add a day, and made clear that if anything went wrong in our homeward journey, she could step in to help. We heartily recommend!! We

We were heading on vacation and were a little stumped. We really didn't know who to ask to help us. Really didnt want to trouble friends & neighbors to help us check in on the pets but knew we needed help. I knew there was a Critter Care company nearby but had no experience with her so I gave her a call to check her out. Colleen of Colleen's Critter Care took excellent care of our two kitties. She stopped by before we left to meet the kitties and to listen to how we care for them and their habits. The kitties seemed to like her right away. We decided to hire her. Arranged the time, paid her in advance & went on vacation with fingers crossed. Colleen was wonderful. Wow, I was blown away by how detailed Colleen is. I have 4 cats and she took down info on all cats and their needs. She also helped me out of a big bind and worked around my needs with ease. Each day I received a detailed text with pics and even a video of her playing with my one cat. She is so thoughtful and caring. Very affordable too. I would recommend Colleen to anyone.

I don’t even know where to begin! Colleen has exceeded my expectations fully. She provides clear communication from start to finish by sending photo, video, and text updates daily. She interacted with our animals on their unique level and follows instructions to the T. We got to meet Colleen before we left to discuss our care plan as well as any other needs we may have while away (plants, trash, mail, light rotation, etc.) She even brought a few toys of her own as well as catnip spray. She left the sweetest card for us as well as a gift for our cats!!! I could go on for days about how at ease we were on vacation. I am certain we will be seeing her again for our next trip up north. I happened to find Colleen online after my regular cat-sitter fell through just a few weeks before I was supposed to leave on a long vacation. This was for a 5 week trip and I had never left my cat for that long before, I was already nervous about leaving him for this long. I emailed her with my initial inquiry and she emailed me back just a few hours later, including a recommendation letter from, in a wonderful coincidence, our regular and favorite Veterinarian! Colleen and I made an initial appointment, she came over, met me and my cat, spent time with us, asked questions, took notes and took some time to get to know him during the two hours she spent with us. I knew I was going to trust this woman with my home and cat. Colleen took such great care of my cat and she is now “Aunt Collee
