I recently brought my kitten Mango in during a very stressful situation, and I can’t thank this team enough. Every staff member was gentle, patient, and so caring toward him. They took the time to talk me through what was going on, answer my questions, and make sure I understood all my options. Even in such a heartbreaking outcome, they made me feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. I’m so grateful for the compassion they showed both me and Mango.

Exceptional veterinary care. We have been going here since before Dr Bonnie Mitchell bought the practice. Never an issue in 15 years. They have treated our bichon Spike and Bichon/Maltese Bella, and now our Sheepadoodle Milo. Both Dr Bonnie and Dr Lisa her associate, are amazing, caring vets, the staff deliver consistently excellent service. Our experiences from puppy to passings has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Just recently switched to this office from another local vet. I just want to say how absolutely welcomed we felt as customers and even for our 2 German shepherds. Everyone— from the receptionist, vet tech, and vet— were so friendly with our big babies and offered treats and love. They requested the records from our old vet, and reviewed them BEFORE my appointment. It goes such a long way that they prepared for us instead of me trying to scramble to remember every bit that could be relevant. They offered links for supplements which made me feel like they truly want my pups best interest and not just a money grab for products. I brought my cat in for a dental evaluation with Dr. Bonnie with anticipation of a dental procedure, under anesthesia, to correct some issues she had. My cat has significant neurologic issues that impair the way she moves and therefore makes her a little bit harder to handle- especially when anesthesia is involved. As someone who works in the veterinary industry (but not at this hospital), I could not have been more impressed with the attention to detail, communication and quality of care that this hospital provided for my lady and I. From Kathy at the front desk to Marcy and Lisa, the technician’s caring for my girl, Dr. Bonnie and ultimately Dr. Lisa who performed her dental procedure- I felt so secure and informed through the whole process. I have been going to Coastal Animal Hospital for many, many years, and will state that both Dr. Bonnie & Dr. Lisa and Dr. Bonnie's husband,as well as their entire staff, has never, ever disrespected me, or any of my animals. I now live 45 minutes away from them, but still make the trip because my babies deserve the best treatment I can give to them, thus Coastal Animal Hospital. Dr. Bonnie sees my dogs most times, and Dr. Lisa always took care of my cats. I know she's a cat lover, and they get excellent care from both doctors.
