Close To Home

Close to Home is the best place to leave your pup. Kristy is wonderful and you can truly see the love she has for what she does. Teddy has stayed there six times, and every time he gets so excited to see her; he always comes back happy. I’m so grateful I found her because I have total peace of mind knowing Teddy is safe and loved. I receive daily photos, and he’s always outside playing and having fun in a big yard. I highly recommend Close to Home!

We love boarding our dogs here and they love it too!! Kristy takes amazing care of them and sends us pictures showing us all of the fun they are having on their own “vacation”. They have experienced post boarding stress in the past at other local Kennels , and we have never had them experience that here. Highly recommend!!

We had a great experience with Kristy. She’s very professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. Our dogs were well cared for and we really appreciate the regular updates. The facility was clean and well organized. We felt completely confident leaving our two German Shorthair pointers which are very active dogs because they require plenty of activity and attention. Kristy sent so many pictures and updates during Ava’s stay - it put my mind to rest knowing she was loved and cared for. Ava got lots of personal attention, play time, and snuggles. Close to home was fabulous. Kristi is very professional, but also gave my Gracie the emotional support she needed. I feel certain she does that for all the dogs there. I couldn't have been happier that my Gracie felt loved, and had fun being there. She truly was happy. She even made a friend. They have a super nice area to play in on the inside, and a fenced in plush green yard on the outside. The owner is always watching them, and spoiling them. I would recommend Close to home to anyone who wants a better experience for their dog .
