When my dog had a stroke, the staff took amazing care of him and the doctor did everything possible to help him recover. They were compassionate, thorough, and even worked with me to make the payment manageable during a stressful time. Even though I’ve moved to a different side of town, I’ll always bring my dogs here because I know I’m getting the best care at the best price! Highly recommend

I’ve been using Clay Chakville for a few years now. I’ve had some problems with the front desk before but I like the techs and the vet enough. After today, I’m officially taking my animals elsewhere. I made appointments for my kittens to be spayed and neutered two weeks ago. They couldn’t be worked in on the same day, which was fine, so one was neutered three days ago, and one was supposed to be spayed today. When we tried to drop her off, we were told she wasn’t on the schedule. This is not the first time I’ve made an appointment over the phone that hasn’t been put on the schedule, just the first time it’s been a surgery appointment and I couldn’t be worked in as a walk in. Kathy couldn’t explain the discrepancy. They couldn’t work me in to get her spayed until either the end of the mo

I had to have one of my dogs put to sleep. She had gotten old and her day to day life had gotten miserable. The vet technician was great. She was sympathetic and patient. I knocked off stars because the vet was rude. He asked me "why do you wanna put down this dog??" probably because she seemed happy and wagging her tail. Which was due to her being in a new place with new people and getting excited. That was not indicative of how she was regularly and as a vet he should know this. He also could not place the meds into the iv line due to his hands shaking, the technician had to do it for him. If it weren't for him, I would definitely go back.

My 14 year old fur baby became deathly ill Thursday night. As you can imagine, I was distraught when I showed up to CCAC 15 mins before opening, but I was let in and met was a friendly and helpful employee who was very empathetic to my situation. They kept me informed and encouraged thru the whole ordeal, and thanks be to GOD, my fur baby is back home and slowly but surely recovering. I even had to call the emergency line at 2am, but someone called me right back and walked me thru her minor irritations possibly to the meds and called the next morning to check on her progress. Their service is above and beyond!!!

They are the most wonderful and caring vet office we have ever used. We absolutely love Dr. Hart. We have 12 dogs and wouldn't trust their care to any other practice. They go above and beyond for my collection of critters.
