Claiborne Animal Shelter

I took my dog to the Claiborne Animal Shelter to be fixed. That day we were expecting a snow storm and the vet tech informed me that they may close early so they were going to try to get the animals fixed quickly. I gave her my work phone number and told her to just call me when they were finished. They called me not even an hour later and told me that my girl was “too aggressive” that I needed to come pick her up. They said she was nipping at staff, growling and showing teeth. I left work and when I got there, they were too afraid to get her out of the kennel so they took me back there with them and she was so out of it she couldn’t even walk, I had to CARRY my girl out of there! They had already given her medication to sedate her and I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t go ahead and d

They made the adoption of our Pyrenees pup such a smooth transition! She had all her shots, vaccinations and worms AND she was spayed!! Super easy and extremely friendly staff!!
