CK Rescue Retreat

We adopted a pup from here about a week ago! The people we met were amazing and made the whole process so easy! The pup we got has been the perfect addition to our family! I would definitely recommend rescuing a pet from here!

Got the sweetest little pup, who we named Millie a few days ago. Adopting her from them was such a positive experience from start to finish. If you’re looking to adopt, I would 100% recommend CK Rescue Retreat.

BE CAREFUL adopting from here. They do not seem to vet check or quarantine rescues brought into their program. I handed over a couple puppies that were dumped in my area after paying $100 per puppy for vet bills and medical costs… these puppies were posted and sold within 24 hours after they received them. If you do adopt from here, please quarantine the dog before introducing to other animals in case they have parasites or parvo. EDIT in response to your reply and message through Venmo: I’m perfectly fine if you can provide photos of quarantine, as I mentioned over Venmo… I don’t believe expressing concern is being dishonest. I would like to take some time to give my feedback after visiting this rescue and reading all of the reviews. My daughter and I visited the rescue this evening was able to spend a few hours with the owners. I was looking for a place to volunteer my free time and since I like animals better than people, a rescue was a natural place to look! The first thing that I noticed is that the pups all were very happy! Many times when visiting animal shelters you leave broken hearted bc the dogs are stuck in cages for the vast majority of the day. These pups were playing in a fenced in yard and were happy to meet us. Honestly it was a completely different feeling that I experienced when I have been in shelters. They are a great rescue, we adopted a small dog from them a few months back and she’s such a great dog. They were very nice and transparent and were willing to meet us half way with the driving. Would 100% adopt another dog from them.
