City of Liberty Animal Shelter

I have adopted three cats from LAS at different times, and each experience has been excellent. The staff was consistently helpful and courteous, and the facility was clean and well-managed. I look forward to adopting more pets in the future, and I will continue to choose LAS for my adoption needs.

Got a kitten from them a few weeks ago. The fees weren’t crazy and they were all super nice. Applications were easy to fill out. We were able to adopt our sweet little Isha from them and she’s been doing wonderful in our family. Our older cat loves her and we do too. No health issues. She’s healthy, playing, and loving her forever home. Thank you to the shelter for doing such a good job and working with us!! Thank you for all you guys do and allowing us to make our family bigger and give her a good home 🥰

I called them one day interested in a kitten they had on their site, they were super friendly to set me up to see him the next day and they clearly took very good care of all the animals. The place was clean and all the lovely employees I interacted with were kind and knowledgeable about the pets. I’d had something very upsetting happen the day right before I went to pick him up from the shelter and am sure I came off as an emotional mess, but they were great. They set me and Bernie up with our adoption, and I appreciate them and all the very important work they do!

Liberty Animal Control and Shelter is a wonderful place. The space is clean and well taken care of. The animals get the opportunity to interact with each other during supervised play time which is great for future adopters to know their animal does well around others. They take great care of the available pets making sure they are healthy and prepared to take on their new life post adoption! The staff is kind and welcoming and work hard both in the shelter and in the community. Highly recommend saying an animal from this shelter!

The facility it clean and very well maintained, the staff is so kind! We recently adopted a 4 month old small breed dog from there and she is the sweetest baby. She came from a hoard situation and we weren't sure what to expect but we were ready for anything, surprisingly she was potty trained already. She is the perfect fit for our family
