City Of Commerce Animal Shelter

The new shelter is so nice, and you can tell the dogs are truly loved and well cared for. The staff is very friendly, and it’s clear they spend a lot of time with the animals, getting to know them and giving them the care and attention they deserve.

I have had a couple of bad experiences at this place. I can't say much for the woman that works there but for the guy Brandon he's something else. The list is long of the complaints I have. The animals are treated poorly. I had two dogs that were picked up once and when I went to pick them up from that place it was bad. My two fur babies were filthy and hungry. There was a second time they got out and when I called about picking them up he told me I could take a few days to make sure they have a secure place. When I call back that next week to let him know I was coming he got all rude with me and started fussing at me like I was some child. He then gave me a very big price tag on what it would be to pick them up and when I couldn't come on the day he wanted me to he told me I could not hav

Great people work here and truly care about the animals they have! They do everything to get them adopted. Highly reccomend!!

Great place. Cute cats ready for great homes.

Dropped off some dog treats, & old comforter. The building is new, there’s construction outside (7/15/24). And of course if smells like a kennel. 🥳🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well, the staff was friendly and appeared genuinely grateful for the donations.
