City of Cameron- Linda Griffin’s Precious Pets Animal Shelter

Georgia was amazing to work with! Recommend to her by a co-worker and even though we were 3 hours apart, she worked with our schedule and met us half way to get our sweet baby Scottie! Sent us lots of pictures leading up to us picking which cat we wanted and the paperwork process was seamless! When it’s time to get more babies, we will be checking here first!

Phenomenal shelter! The animals are well cared for and Georgia goes above and beyond to provide all needs to the animals that depend on her. She and those who volunteer strive to find the perfect adoptive family for each one as well. Attached is a photo of my tortie, Salem Sue, who I adopted from the Cameron Shelter.

If it wasn't for Georgia and her Co workers we wouldn't have had the chance love Tonka, or have sweet Coco now! We are thankful for what Georgia does! She deserves more than a five-star rating!

Georgia and her staffs love for animals goes far above and beyond❣️ I’ve adopted 2 cats from her. The shelter is just the best caring and loving.

We adopted a dog a few months back. The shelter itself is a nice, clean, well kept building. I have noticed that Georgia, the animal control lady, puts in a lot of time out in the community. She gets out there, she identifies red flag situations, she knows her community well, she is available and easily accessible to the public. These things really put her in a position to rescue animals before they would otherwise likely die. She also puts out a lot of efforts on social media and radio. Really getting the word out and info on animals that need homes. I believe that increases the odds for these animals to find good homes. We have been very impressed.
