I have been looking for a small dog for months. Going to all the shelters in the area? When I find me found this fellow, Sancho. Everyone was so helpful with the adoption., came with 5 pounds of dog food. Shots etc. It was very clean. Highly recommend

What a wonderful experience adopting a pup at this location. Staff were patient and kind. Savannah went above and beyond- joyful and caring. The whole experience, start to finish, was beyond expectations. Other cities should take notice on how to run a clean, humane shelter. Every pet is treated with love.

I'm a 79-year-old woman I've been going to the east side and Westside animal shelters for a lot of years, now for the holidays I decided I want to get a puppy now I have helper around the house. So I have been going to the east side shelter people never have patience for an older lady that work for the city until today when I showed up and I met animal handler Luis Delgado he was amazing respectful gave some of the most outstanding customer service, he's the first person I've ever met that works at an animal shelter that cares about the public just as much as the animals. Luis is amazing young man and deserve some kind of recognition for being the best worker you have in either shelter it's the end of the year he deserves employee of the year or employee of the month or whatever you guys d

So many animals in need of a home, we went to rescue a cat and came home with Milo our 50lbs 9mo old Alaskan husky who instantly made his way in our hearts. The staff is truly amazing, caring and compassionate. Update: 2 years later and some new photos of the unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime

HORRIBLE SHELTER, WITH HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES AND SUPERVISORS!!! This shelter breaks the rules for employees!!! Was there everyday this week in search of two kittens for myself and my family!! One kitten had a hold, and I was second if they didn't show up!! This family didn't bother to show up. Without receiving a call from the shelter, I went to see if they came to adopt the cat. They didn't so I was able to adopt the kitty. Everyday this week I was there I inquired about another kitten, that I fell in love with. I was told she was on a medical hold and I could not put a priority hold on her. Once she was cleared it would be first come first serve. Today while I was there I once again inquired about the kitten, was told again she's not cleared and no hold could be placed. While I'm filling ou
