CITY DOGS

This is an amazing organization. This is my girl. Adopted late 2024. The staff and volunteers are amazing. We recently went back to visit her friend a volunteer who helped her get to us! ADOPT don't shop.

City Dogs is simply fantastic! Thoughtful, engaging, inquisitive and knowledgeable counselors who take the time (although tremendously busy) to find the match for the dog and you. Exceptionally clean and well organized facility that enables staff and volunteers to train , walk and get to know all the deliciously adorable dogs. If you are able support in any way you are able..they are truly doing God's work saving a loving and dog that will potentially save and definitely love you!

I adopted my shelter dog on 4/28/25. I had contacted City Dogs about meeting him and met with him, his foster, and one of the shelter workers. His foster parent was Phil, and he was/is OUTSTANDING. He obviously cares so much about my shelter dog and all the others he fosters and takes care of, and was so helpful in communicating everything about my shelter dog and helping me with any questions I had. Also, when I went to adopt him at the City Dogs shelter, his foster had so many things for me to bring home with him and provided me with a harness and collar that he was already comfortable with. Everything my shelter dogs foster (Phil) did was above and beyond, and so thoughtful, and everyone should want to adopt from City Dogs. Adopt, dont shop!!!

It’s a good place. I can confirm because I got my dog there two years ago very trained dog. They take care of the dogs and walk them every day. Lots of Pitbulls mostly . A lot of volunteers who like to work for the dogs every day and use their time to take care of the dogs when I went there for the first time there were at least seven people walking a dog. Good place I recommend if getting a pitbull or any other dog.

Fantastic place to get a rescue dog people are super helpful, dogs are vetted so you know exactly what you are getting and what their history is the people that foster the dogs are super nice and do a great job taking care of the rescued!
