City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue

My experience was great, they care about the animals they rescue and work hard to make sure they get good forever homes, I feel the adoption fees are reasonable since they are spayed/neutered, chipped, had all test and up to date on shots, the foster was wonderful and it shows with how loving my new pets are, (I am actually their humble servant), I highly recommend this rescue, top notch, not only in placement but making sure the animals are ready for their new home.

The foster carer as well as the adoption counselor were compassionate, professional and helpful! I adopted my first cat from them in Nov. 2022, and just got my second Oct. 2025.

I adopted my two cats from City Dogs & City Kitties. The whole experience was so easy and the volunteers answered all of my many questions. (I had a lot). I've recommended them to friends and they've only had a great things to say.

I’ve been trying to adopt for a year now. During the hight of Covid several factors contributed to rehoming my pets. I tried apply for cats and they declined my application immediately and refused to elaborate on why. I don’t feel as though being laid off and my mother dying (to situations completely out of my control) should determine that I am unfit to adopt. Is been 4 years since COVID and I have rebuilt my life. Extremely unfair. I made an adult decision to make sure my pets where in a home with people that could make sure they were well kept during a time where I could no longer provide that. I’m sensing a pattern since the only other 1 start rating is also from a POC 🧐

Jennifer was quick to respond to my emails and was very helpful and friendly. Great organization to help animals in need. You can tell she really cares about the work she is doing.
