City by the Sea Vet Urgent Care

Going to the vet in an emergency is never a fun time, but the staff at City by the Sea urgent care made the experience so much easier. They were so friendly, everything was explained well, and my kitten was taken care of. Within a few hours I saw results fixing the problem. I am so grateful for the help of the staff and the kindness we were showed in our first visit. I hope to not need their services again, but I know where to go in case of a pet emergency.

Unfortunately our dog became very sick while we were away from our primary vet. We read the reviews and decided to take him here. The news was devastating, and we had to put our dog down. The staff at City by the Sea was supportive and caring during this difficult time. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Outstanding service for a dog I was fostering (and have now adopted). Dr Coughlin is an excellent vet and the support staff were equally efficient and friendly. They gave a fast but thorough investigation followed by a clear diagnosis. Minimal waiting, excellent bedside manner, gentle with a patient feeling very ill, straightforward explanation of costs before any procedures were done, dedicated and timely follow up. The prices are reasonable given the high standard of service. I recommend this urgent care to anyone with an emergency. I was so impressed I’ve registered my dog with the regular vet practice at City by the Sea.

Dr. Murray and her tech Alana were amazing!! They saw my dog right away and quickly gave us a diagnosis and treatment options. I was so glad they were available conveniently after work hours. Best part, no long wait time sitting at a vet ER. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs help with any unexpected medical care for their furry friends.

I can’t say enough positive things about City by the Sea. When they opened this Urgent Care after moving facilities down the road (also great!) I had to take my cats there for an ongoing gastric issue. The front staff made me feel like part of an animal family- they’re warm, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The doctors I’ve encountered were thorough and knew just what to look for to help my pets. They followed up with caring calls the day after and made me feel cared for. Service is quick and fabulous. I love that they have late hours for those pre emergencies and they’re right in town in Asbury! Don’t hesitate to go here when needed, I highly recommend 😊.
