We sent our two pups to 3 weeks of board and train with Andrew. The pups were 4 months and 8 months at the time. We wanted to accelerate their obedience training and also nip some negative behavior in the bud, such as jumping on people, chasing the cats, pulling on the leash, chewing on the furniture, and others. Andrew managed a miracle. Max and Mia came back completely changed! It is an absolute pleasure to be around them! Andrew also gave us detailed instructions on how to continue to reinforce their training at home. Now we can move on to agility training, teaching them tricks, going out with them, taking trips. We highly recommend Citizen K-9 and Andrew!

Andrew is FANTASTIC!! He took a three year old rescue I adopted and turned him into the best dog I have ever had. My dog is so comfortable with Andrew I even use his boarding services.

We sent our 1 year old pup to Andrew for a three week board and train after he had become increasingly leash-reactive toward other dogs, trucks and some people. His protective nature was getting to be uncomfortable for my family. Andrew took time to ask me all about our dog and his issues, and assess whether or not his services would be a good fit for us. Luckily for us, it was. Andrew loves, respects and understands dogs - even "troubled" dogs. He takes them to his house for the boarding/training session often with other dog roommates at the same time, spends time with them in his yard, inside his home with his family and in public places like parks and town centers. I rarely write reviews, but I felt like I had to because I am in awe of Andrew's training methods. We have a 6 month old GoldenDoodle (Dutchie) and she went to stay with Andrew for the 14 day board and train. She came back a transformed dog. She had some issues with becoming very hyper around other dogs and people. She also was pulling on her leash when out for a walk. Not any more!! Andrew corrected these behaviors and she is now a well behaved puppy. The frustration of dealing with the negative behaviors has been alleviated. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone with a dog.

Andrew is absolutely amazing! We sent our 2yr old German Shepard mix to him for a board and train, and Bear came back so well behaved and still is after 3 months. He also boards, so after training Bear we boarded both our dogs with him and they came back so happy, you could tell they were taken great care of. We won’t be using any other dog trainer or boarding facility, Citizen K9 for life!
