I went into this class looking for something fun to do with my dog that would benefit us both. I have a six month old puppy who I have worked hard with since day one and who has gone to other training school programs to learn the basics. I started this class to have a place to practice and work with my dog while she was on break from her original program. I also was very interested in starting dog sports such as agility with her. My first session I was a little surprised by the different set up and methods used. They seemed outdated and very different than what I was used to. I decided early on I was just going to use this facility as practice for my dog and not take on any of their methods. The website is misleading, the training here is very aversive and outdated. No positive reinforceme

This is about the six or seventh dog we've had go thru this training program and every time we've had great results. You have to have some discipline with dogs. If you've watched Mary Jo with her dogs, it's incredible how well this program works and how well her dogs listen to her. They are happy dogs. Dogs have to learn to obey without being given a treat every minute. I applaud the methods used at the school and would recommend it to anybody. This program is about training the handler while training the dog

I would give this place 0 stars if I could — honestly, they don’t even deserve that. My girlfriend (a veterinarian) has been taking our puppy here for a few weeks, and from day one she told me their training methods were outdated and downright questionable. Today I saw it for myself, and it was worse than I imagined. Within the first five minutes, someone walked out. Looking back, we should’ve followed. The main trainer spent the entire class screaming at dogs, acting like intimidation equals training. I watched a staff member hit a German Shepherd and yank repeatedly on multiple dogs’ prong collars. It was disturbing and completely unprofessional. The trainer then tried to tell my partner to forcefully shove our dog to the ground. When my partner refused, the trainer got defensive and lec

I Absolutely recommend this training school! Thanks to obedience training with Mary Jo my Vegas got CGC TKN titles and also 1 leg in Obedience Novice trail, now we are on the way to completing the intermediate level at this school and getting the BN title in Obedience! Even if you are not interested in showing your dog it’s great place for obedience base! Look at my happy dog face! We enjoy learning!

After only 6 weeks of training my almost 7 month old puppy did a down stay at the park while the kids played. We had walked a mile and practiced our heel, sit and stay. To have a high energy dog lay down and stay when told to, even while it's little humans were running around and playing, is a true testament to how well Mary Jo's training works. we are so excited to continue to the next level and to be able to say we have a well-mannered puppy in our family. Highly, highly recommend this training facility! New location is very nice and easy to get to!
