Cincinnati Animal CARE Colerain Campus - Hamilton County Animal Shelter

I am a big supporter of Cincy Animal CARE and have adopted two cats and a dog from them. Wonderful, hardworking staff that are passionate about helping animals. Also a wonderful community of volunteers and fosters (which I have also help foster). There are so many ways one can get involved, from adopting, fostering, to even taking a dog on a day trip or overnight to get out of the shelter. I recommend this place to anybody looking for a new furry friend or if you need help with rehoming one.

We adopted a beautiful doggo here. She's amazing with our kids. The staff was honest and worked hard to make sure that the right pet was placed with us. They let us foster to try things out with our kids and cats before committing. My only complaint is that the clinic is very busy and difficult to reach sometimes. That's not really their fault, but it did make time-sensitive questions difficult. The staff was great to communicate with when we did have questions and needs. I'd love to recommend them to others. There are so many wonderful pets to choose from.

Very caring staff and volunteers. They are very dedicated and do what is needed for people and animals in need in our community. Just a few pics of the ones that they have helped ❤️. So many good furbabies have found their forever homes through Cincinnati Animal Care; so, so many are still waiting for their forever homes. Please consider opening your heart and home to a furbaby in need. ❤️

This is my first time fostering and they have done a great job helping me! Everyone is super friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely be continuing fostering with their program!

we adopted Vera back in October and she’s been the best addition to our lives. her foster partners were amazing and the staff was wonderful. the process was super smooth and we’ve been thrilled to have her. she’s the queen of naps, loves roadtrips, and is especially social with other dogs. we’ve only ever adopted dogs from the shelter as they make THE BEST companions.
