Chilbrook Kennels LLC

I've been meaning to write a review earlier but time got away from me. I have one of Chilbrook's labs and all I can say is INCREDIBLE!!!!! She does genetic testing and breads quality dogs. I was referred to Debbie through my Vet and I couldn't be happier. Our male is now 6 months old, is our fourth Lab over the years and is shaping up to be the best one yet! He is intelligent, very social and and all around great pet and loves to work and train. I recommend Chilbrook to anyone who is looking for a Labrador.

I contacted Debby. She had a litter but due to personal issues wanted a week or so before we could visit. Then for some reason she later said perhaps I should consider not looking at litters until the fall. I did not know why. I had been as i alway am, totally polite, so I said perhaps yes. Her response to that was: " maybe I should look elsewhere. " How arrogant. Made me feel like I was not good enough for her.

We recently reached out to Debby Kay with interest in a Yellow Lab puppy. She was extremely patient with our many questions and provided a deep knowledge that allowed gave us solid confidence in our choice to select a puppy from one of her Male Dog's, "Soul". Since we brought our puppy home, we have been amazed at the even temperament as well as discipline that our little lab showed from the first night. Debby Kay has continued to check in with us and answer questions even after we brought our puppy home. We could not be more pleased and would recommend Debby Kay, every time!

Simply the BEST. Debby Kay knows more about dogs: breeding and training service dogs -than anyone else. Period. She is a consummate professional: highly intelligent, kind, strong and knows exactly what she’s doing- traits her dogs share with her. Worth waiting for her to match you with the right dog. Worth the travel. Worth every minute training with her. So glad we found her!

I just finished a 4 day seminar with trainers Debby and Becky at Chilbrook Kennels and it was amazing. My daughter Mia was recently diagnosed with a rare disease called Glycogen Storage Disease. One of the symptoms is hypoglycemia so it was recommended that we look into a diabetic alert dog. After our initial research my wife and I quickly realized two things. 1. these dogs would cost between $18 and $22 thousand dollars and 2. the industry was for lack of a better word, shady. So instead of searching for service dogs I searched for "quality lab breeders" and found that a lot of these breeders used Chilbrooks dogs to breed.
