The kennel is pristine, and the dogs are well treated. The employees are not. Kim’s own dog is a 140lb Swiss Mountain Dog who is uncontrollably, unpredictably violent and bit both our dog and her employee. Despite this, Kim still asked the employee to work with him, at which time Savvy bit her again, without provocation. Kim gave no real apology, no recognition of the danger, and showed no real interest in reconciling the situation. We are dog lovers ourselves, but to ignore the potentially deadly attacks of your own dog on your own employee, and ask her to continue to work with the dog, is irresponsible and dangerous. I would not bring my dog here for care as long as Savvy is still there, and I don’t appreciate the cavalier disregard for the well being of Kim’s employees. There are better

My husband and I have boarded our dogs twice with Cherished Pet Care. We absolutely love Kim and her facility. We have high energy dogs and this kennel meets these needs. I feel comfortable leaving our dogs with Kim because she has an abundance of love for dogs and it shows in the care she gives. Our dogs love being there and I am sure the next time we say, "You want to visit Kim?", they will be at the door waiting excitedly! We highly recommend Cherished Pet Care.

I have a 3 year old Labrador, Chance, who admittedly is spoiled rotten at home. From playing fetch, to chasing the sprinkler, and lying in his comfy bed, I knew it would be tough to find a place I felt comfortable leaving him. After visiting several boarding facilities I had almost given up on the idea of boarding Chance. That is until I visited the facilities at Cherished Pet Care and met the owner Kim. After the initial walk thru I knew Chance would be taken care of well and would even have the opportunity to do his favorite activity… swimming in the pond! After our first extended weekend of boarding, Chance was unfazed by the experience. Actually the next day at home, I think he was missing his new friends there and their play time together. I would definitely recommend Cherished

This was the first time we used Cherished Pets to board our golden doodle, Zoe. We were concerned because she had been boarded in the past at the breeder's location, but that was no longer possible. We were extremely pleased with the care and attention Zoe received at Cherished Pets. Kim did an excellent job with Zoe and we know Zoe felt right at home. In fact she felt so at home she was reluctant to leave!

My dog Winnie loves to go to Cherished, or "puppy camp" as we call it. She receives excellent care there. The kennel area is immaculate, well organized, and cheerful. There are, I think, four fenced acres for good doggie romping. The dogs are taken out for exercise in the fields twice a day. There is even a pond for the swimmers! Communication with Cherished is easy. We usually get an exit bath - Winnie never smells as good as she does after some Cherished spa action. We love it!
