Customer Reviews
My dog loves taking walks, and we walk to the dog park. Everytime we go, we don't ever see any dogs. That's super sad for Roxie. She looses interests and wants to continue walking after 10 mins.
I've been bringing our 14 month female retriever up to the park on a semi regular basis for about a year. Most of the interactions with other dogs have been positive. However, she did receive a more than playfully nip however, I was able to quickly intervine and rescue my pup. Too, I will not go in the park if there's to many dogs already on site. One last comment- please pick up after your dog....
This is a nice large park. Brought my three small dogs, they had a great time running around. My only complaint, they don’t have an area sectioned off for small dogs. Our time was cut short when a larger dog came. Would return again.
My dog takes me there quite often. It's a nice setup and very secure. The double gate makes it much more safe for pets and owners and the concrete below the fence to keep dogs from digging their way out. Always stocked with supplies if necessary, room to park, water available, but bring your own toys. I do wish they would separate a section just for smaller dogs. That would keep the owners and little ones from being so overwhelmed when bigger dogs are at play. A nice park, thank you Charleston!
Hours are dusk to dawn btw. It’s very nice having this local little space for the pups to run around. It’s a good sized fenced area for bigger and smaller dogs alike. They’re not separated By weight but I’ve yet to encounter an ornery dog, and my larger Aussie plays nicely with smaller breeds. It’s a good park and good population of pets and pet owners. Water is provided but I recommend bringing a toy like a tennis ball for the dogs to interact with and get em all running.
