A scheduled c-section on a Monday with another clinic turned into an emergency c-section on a Saturday afternoon at CKVC when the clinic we were scheduled with opted not to help when my dog went into early labor mid-morning. CKVC took me seriously immediately despite me never having been there previously, squished us in to a busy day with only one vet in the building at the drop of a hat and made calls to get another doctor in so the clinic could be covered while Dr. Tritsch did the surgery. I don't feel I can adequately express my gratitude for their professionalism and flexibility in getting us in and in getting my dog and her puppies through safely. I worked in a vet clinic for over a decade at this point and am exceedingly particular about where I take my dogs. CKVC ticked every box

Dr. Roger’s and his team saved our puppy’s life! We adopted a shelter pup and within days of us bringing him home he became sick. He tested positive for parvovirus. Our best treatment plan was antibodies and supportive care. They updated us multiple times a day on his condition and after a four night stay we were able to bring our baby home. We are extremely grateful for the team at Central Kentucky Vet for giving our Dodger the best care possible!

CKVC honestly deserves so much more than 5 stars. We have been taking our 3 year old golden retriever here since she was a pup and just recently got another 2 month old golden. After about a week with us he got really sick and after a couple office visits it was determined he needed intestinal surgery. Despite how anxious we were, we never once worried about the care he was in. Dr. Rogers, Dr. Fuller and the rest of the staff were amazing and loved and cared for our pup like he was their own. They kept us up to date throughout the whole process and we even heard some of the staff cheering him on when it was time to come home. We are beyond grateful for the CKVC staff and what they did to get our Finn back home to us and I could not recommend anyone more!

We got Bones because my mom worked nights when I was in high school, so I would feel less alone and safer at night. I still remember the first car ride home, she sat in my lap while I took selfies with her. Bones was around for some of my toughest life experiences, and for some of the best. When I finished hair school, I moved out with my partner. I left Bones with my mom because by that point, she needed Bones more. Though, I have visited them nearly every weekend since then. A few years ago, we discovered that Bones likely had cancer. After a rough surgery and a lot of testing, we decided not to put her through any more stress, and that when there were more bad days than good, we would say good bye. She had not one but TWO more Christmases with us - in good spirits and fair health. How f

The care our 3 cats received was amazing. The employees were so hood at keeping them calm and none of them seemed to mind their shots, so they were gentle. We are thankful for their kindness and gentle touch. So are our babies.
