Central Dakota Humane Society

We recently had to take a puppy out there. She was a stray and as much as we wanted to keep her, we couldn't. They said we could call and check on her. Hopefully she gets adopted by a loving family. This is her picture when we took her out there. She is friendly.

Extremely rude worker on the phone. Meant to call Souris Valley shelter, somehow got this phone number instead. Wanted to ask if anybody reported a missing animal recently, as I located a stray orange cat, was immediately laughed at and told "We get reports all the time". Then asked if I had the right location, was told that it was in Mandan and not Minot, and apologized for calling the wrong number and said they were somehow mixed up, only to be told "Yeah I dont see how thats possible" while still laughing.

Very nice, welcoming, accommodating place to visit to potentially adopt a pet.

Very sweet and helpful staff. All of the animals are well-cared for and in good, clean conditions. Their adoption process is thorough and has the animals' best intentions in mind, which I always love to see. We will definitely be back to check out more kitties as we look for a new furry friend!

Got a very beautiful kitty named Evelin she’s super happy and cuddly I am so glad they chose us as her forever home I couldn’t be happier
