Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic, P.A.

Just before Labor Day weekend, my dog Owen was attacked by a coyote near my place in Grand Marais. He suffered significant trauma to his mouth, head, and eye and required emergency intubation and surgery. In what could have been a devastating outcome, Dr. Samari and his vet tech, Kaitlin, made themselves available for an emergency appointment and immediately took Owen into surgery. Their quick action, skill, and compassion quite literally saved Owen’s life. Without their willingness to step up in such a critical moment, I don’t think Owen would have made it. Grand Marais is lucky to have such dedicated professionals in the community. I am forever grateful to Dr. Samari and Kaitlin for their extraordinary care and for giving me more time with Owen.

We are new to town and were only in Grand Marais for two weeks before our dog had an emergency illness. We were scared since we had not established veterinary care yet. We called Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic and pressed the number for emergency. Even though it was early and the clinic was not open yet, Dr. Samari answered our call and told us to bring our dog in to be seen. The doctor is very knowledgeable and has a very calming nature. Our dog normally has to be sedated to even have blood drawn, but Dr. Samari is like a dog whisperer! He made our dog feel safe and secure and was able to work with him without being sedated. We are so very thankful for Dr. Samari and his staff!!!!

We absolutely love Cedar Grove vet! We took our female dog to be spayed and they were amazing. Our dog has healed incredibly well, the vet was very kind and professional, the whole team was as well. We will happily bring our dogs to cedar grove veterinary for all their health needs.

I can’t say enough positive things about this clinic. The staff and level of care are exceptional. We feel lucky to be clients of such loving care towards our fur babies.

Dr Samari and Lee Samari are an unbelievable team. Experienced, compassionate, knowledgeable. What an asset to Grand Marais! Called us in May when we lost our Brittney to dual laryngeal paralysis, reaching out to us at a very important time when our senior dog died. Now with our new 12 week old puppy, Cedar Grove was our first stop for a puppy check, shots, nail clipping, chipping and some free puppy handling tips. We’ll be back for her slaying in December. They’re amazing. You can trust going to them. We would drive 100s off miles for them to be our vet—and do! 🙂lol
