They did nothing but reassure and explain the entire process thoroughly, which is beyond appreciated as a pet owner. I truly feel as if they treated Peanut as one of their own, the kindness and care was unmatched. Where do I even begin? I am beyond grateful for the care my Pomeranian, Surot, received at Catskill Veterinary Clinic—especially from Dr. Joseph D’Abbracio and the entire team, from the front desk to the vet techs. Surot is my 5-year-old Pomeranian whom I found abandoned at a Metro North train station during COVID in October 2020. I reached out to multiple shelters, but none could take her. At that time, we had just gotten our first Pomeranian and honestly couldn’t afford another dog—but I couldn’t walk away from her. We took her in, and within a few months she was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus. She had surgery in Albany in January 2021 and did so well. We unfortunately had to put our 16 yr old lab down yesterday. From the moment we arrived the receptionist got us right into a room as our dog had an accident on the floor. She was so reassuring and kind. I have always appreciated this facility but Isaiah is truly one of a kind and made to be in this field! He was so patient as my husband and I were not expecting our sweet girl to go to the bridge that day and were all in shock. We had our toddler with us and he was so patient with her, even when she was trying to touch everything. Everyone the entire visit was incredible and caring. We are so grateful for you guys!

Catskill Veterinary Services was recommended to us during an after hours emergency by our veterinarian. Everyone we have been in contact with on their team has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring. They’ve really turned a terrifyingly, stressful situation into one that’s been much easier to deal with than expected. Their caring and compassion for animals is genuine and it shows. We’ve had multiple appointments over the last few days and when we pull in our Tuggy is dragging to get inside.
