Cats Cradle Cat Hotel

My wife and I were heading out of town and had to push up our dates last minute and only had a day ti find someplace to board our 2 cats. We read recommendations for Cats Cradle online and our vet recommended them as well so I have them a call. They had room and were able to take our cats that same day, and they were really helpful in letting us know one of our cats was behind on a vaccine but would hold the room if we got them the shot that day (which we did). They were flexible with the timing of dropping off and picking up our cats, showed us the room they would be in, answered any questions we had, and they even sent us pics every day since this was the first time our cats were ever boarded, so we were a little anxious for them (I’ve included some in this review). Cats Cradle was great

To say that Cats Cradle is a blessing to my family is an understatement. I’m a long-time customer under the previous owner, but hadn’t had the opportunity to board my cats with current owners, Kim and Michael. I booked a week’s stay to help with and attend my daughter’s wedding. On the day I’m to take my kitties there, I discovered I had booked the wrong week! I called Kim in a panic and with some adjustments, she was able to accommodate us. She was instantly in a “How do we fix this mode” and did not make me feel stupid or incompetent (I had enough of that coming from myself!). She was even able to accommodate us with a “catio” room (room with a screened patio). While we were gone, she and her staff sent us updates and photos of our pets, which was a huge help in relieving any anxiety.

Our two young rescue kitties have found a second home! They were so well cared for we'll always bring them back to Cats Cradle when we're traveling for more than a couple of days, if they can't road trip with us. They had their nails trimmed, too. We received many photos and updates of Cheech and Sooty, which was great for our hearts. They loved the catio. I'm telling all my friends with cats about Cats Cradle.

We have left our young cat at the cradle twice now and both times were very comforting. Kelly indulged us with regular photos and we could see he was well cared for during our extended absences. Kim, the owner also helped us during our recent emergency need to travel for a funeral when the place was seemingly completely booked. We are lucky to have Cat's Cradle as a comfortable and safe haven for our cat when we are away.

My veterinarian recommended Cats Cradle of Black Mountain when I needed pet sitting for several days while I went out of town. My kitty was so well taken care of! I can tell from the photographs I received while she was in their care that she was very comfortable and pampered. I'm certain she is checking my calendar for my next trip out of town to see when she can return to Cats Cradle!😀
