Cato's Catopia

Leo is a active 16 month-old orange male tabby and he required boarding for 3 days so we could attend an old-of-town wedding. After checking out local cat boarding options in the area, we decided on Cato's Catopia because it was the most cat friendly. Other places catered to dogs and left the cats on their own in cages. At Catopia, Leo had a private, cozy cat condo and received personalized attention and play time each day. April sent us daily updates with pictures to put our mind at ease that Leo had adjusted well to his environment and was coping with our absence very well. Perhaps too well ... LOL! Anyway, having been cat care-givers for over 40 years we have had different experiences in cat boarding which is sometimes a necessity. Cato's Catopia has been the best experience we have had

Our 3 year old cat, Walter, has been boarding with April for a couple years and we wouldn’t leave him with anyone else! He stays in one of the suites when he visits and loves having plenty of room to explore and play. He loves all of the cat towers, shelves, and hiding places. Before finding the Catopia, we tried another cat boarding facility where Walter was very stressed due to having to be in close proximity to other cats. Being an only-kitty, he is much happier at the Catopia where he has an entire room to himself. April sends us photos everyday so we can see what he is up to. We always have peace of mind when traveling because we know that he is in wonderful and caring hands.

We've been taking our kitty Roxy to Cato's Catopia for at least five years and it really is the best! She used to hate the barking dogs at pickup and drop off, but Cato's is cats only and it's very serene, just the way cats like. The cats have room to move be around and can watch other kitties from their condos and the owners get plenty of pics! April is a cat owner and cat lover who takes care of these cats like they're her own. We're so grateful for Cato's Catopia, it's truly is our cat's second home and we wouldn't take her anywhere else!

This place is the absolute best! April and her husband are so kind and ensure that our cats (Hazel and Winnie) are cared after to the fullest. They do not only send me daily updates and pictures, but also ensure our girls are truly loved when they come. Winnie has extreme anxiety and has issues with being in new spaces. Even Winnie feels extremely comfortable here, she comes out daily for love (which she would never do with a cat sitter or anywhere else other than home). Hazel, my other cat, has respiratory issues and I feel assured that she is well looked after and monitored here. They offer to pick them up, as well as delivering them back which aligns perfectly with my husband and I’s schedules. They reply to my text’s in a quick time frame and are consistently flexible. April is a Cat Expert! She has taken care of my Charlie for the last four years when I need to travel. My Charlie is a senior guy, when he is with April, he is a kitten once again. She has a haven for the cats to relax while their parents are away. Many of April’s clients are friends with my Charlie, they see each other often. All fur friends are welcome at Catopia; young and old. Catopia has a unique design with individual condos that are multi levels for the cat’s enrichment, large play scapes, individual suites for your cat or cats to room together.
