I adopted a kitty boy a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience. They sent us home with a care package for him and he was settled in within an hour of coming home. His prior name was Thackery but we renamed him Salem Wolfgang Olszewski. He is my whole world and I love him so so much <3 I had the best experience at catkins and they truly know how to take care of our fur friends there. Highly recommend!!! Thank you so much Catkins for allowing me to bring this precious little boy into my family!

Everyone we spoke to and met at Catkins was kind, informative, and helpful. They are a no-kill rescue that cares about each animal. Catkins has a nice, large outdoor area with many walking trails, separate buildings for dogs and cats, and plans to expand. They answered all our questions, and we were never rushed. Our dog came with extensive vet work, records, and a microchip. They send follow-up emails and are available to answer questions or help after adoptions.

Tonya and her staff are great! My wife and I traveled an hour and a half to adopt Harry and Gouda, now River. Both kitties are doing so great! This shows how well they are treated at the shelter and also by the vets. Harry is one tough kitty, but he is so gentle and friendly, and River is non-stop action. Thank you Tonya for what you do!

This by far is the friendliest rescue I have come in contact with. They may be small but they are BIG on customer service! And on doggy service! Believe me when I say they truly take care in their animals and treat every one of them in the rescue as their own! Lynn has been an angel with me through the whole adoption process and post adoption process! They have been nothing but reasonable, understanding, kind, and most importantly affordable! She even keeps in touch to this day with me after the adoption to check on Mika! I told you. They are small but you get that heart to heart service and support with them that you don't get at larger rescues or the Humane Society. You will not regret adopting from them!

We adopted an adorable 5 year old brown lab mix, yesterday. The folks there were very professional and the place was clean; didn't smell like dog and cat feces. We highly recommend Catkins.
