Cat Hospital of Metairie

The Cat Hospital of Metairie has been absolutely wonderful to us. The entire staff is incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating—especially with our deaf cat, Polly, who can be very stressed during visits. They take their time, explain everything clearly, and never make us feel rushed. It’s obvious they truly understand cats and care deeply about their comfort and well-being. We’re so grateful to have a place we trust completely. Highly recommend!

Camila my cat have had an issue with her hair and over grooming herself, that started about a year ago and her Dr gave us suggestions about what to do through several visits and nothing seem to work, we took her to a different Dr highly recommended by a friend and to our surprise they didn’t even got her out of her carrier only talked to us without seeing her. But Dr Miller at Metairie Cat Hospital was very thorough with understanding Camila’s home environment as well as explaining the possible reasons for her condition. From now on Dr. Miller is her primary care Dr. We highly recommend Dr Miller and Cat hospital of Metairie.

My cat had kidney problems and was in the hospital between Tuesday through Saturday..They pretty much brought him back to life but he is not out of the woods yet. I couldn’t administer the iv medication. I really need cat hospital to administer medication.My cat keeps jumping backwards and needle jumps backwards. I need 10 days every morning till the fluids are gone cause I do not know how to do it at my house. It’s not working.

I was so excited to be able to get an appointment for grooming and a check up for my cat. I consider the Cat Hospital the premier Vet to take care of all of my cats needs. The vet and groomer were very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. My cat was well taken care of and I knew she was in good hands. I will definitely be back again for my Charlee’s checkup in a few months!

My cat is currently at this clinic and I write this on day 3 of waiting to see if he’ll pull through from a bad respiratory related illness. I’m going to preface this with saying that I have worked in the veterinary field myself for almost a decade up until recently, so it’s hard for me to be on the other side of things. It’s surely a challenge to be in a “I didn’t even notice my cat was sick and now it’s an emergency” type of situation. I have felt embarrassed, depressed, and frankly sick to my stomach about how sick my pet is, for more than just the possibility of losing him.
