We absolutely love Doug and Laura and what they have created. Our dogs have been with them since they were boarding out of their very own home, and we’ve followed them to their beautiful new facility. From day one, they’ve treated our dogs like family—sending photos, communicating regularly, giving treats, and even making thoughtful homemade gifts. Their kindness and genuine care go far beyond what you’d ever expect from a boarding service. We recently had to say goodbye to one of our dogs and Doug and Laura were right there with us—crying, hugging, and sharing in our grief. That kind of kindness and compassion is rare, and it means the world to us. We are so grateful our babies have people like them in their lives. There’s no one else we’d trust more with our pups. ❤️

Been going to CC since 2021, and I’d highly recommend anyone to go here esp now with the new facility being the main space for the pups to run and play. Laura and Doug are so great with the dogs and have hired on a very talented crew that takes care of the dogs just as if they were their own. Appreciate the dog lovers out there! 10/10!

Yes, your dog is treated like family when they are staying at Carver Canines!! Doug and Laura do a very good job of evaluating the temperament of the dogs that stay with them. This means that each time your dog stays with them, the group of pups is friendly and secure with their surroundings. Some dogs may need their own suite for their stays, but they are happy, comfortable and safe there also. My dog LOVES being at Carver Canines and her dog friends. I was referred to Carver Canines two years ago and I am SO happy with their services. Everything you read on the website is true, you can count on it!

Doug and Laura and their team are the best we’ve seen at making sure our dogs are well cared for! Our two dogs are getting older and Flipper is more nervous staying away from home. They went above and beyond in our two recent stays to give Flipper extra rest time when showing stiffness and even drove to get medicine from our Vet in Victoria. The videos and photos we received gave us such peace of mind while away visiting family. We packed special food so they would eat and they warmed it and washed the dishes! Incredible experience and truly blessed that they opened their doors to treat dogs like family. Thank you!

We have two dogs who are used to staying with my aunt (who fosters dogs also and is what I'd consider an expert) when we're away, but as she may be moving soon we were forced to find an alternative. We live very close to Carver Canines and wanted to try them, but we were a little apprehensive as our dogs can be reactive to other dogs and people outside of our household. We signed them up for the two-hour trial and when we didn't get a call to come and get them within the first half hour we were beyond excited. According to Doug and Laura they passed with flying colors and have since spent one overnight there in a suite. They loved it!
