update feb 2025 When I arrived for my appt today, a momma goat was having issues delivering 2 large babies. My appt for my cat Harold was delayed an hour. TY for putting your patients first (the four legged). Momma and 2 precious babies are fine. ----Just moved to town and I was looking for a local vet for my senior pets, Sydney - a 14yr old lab and Harold a 15yr old Tuxedo cat. Got an appointment to check on my dog this week and Dr McKinnon was great. Highly recommend.

I don’t know how to explain how lucky I am to use Dr. Laura McKinnon as our vet! She is so good with animals, she has an awesome connection not only with the animals but with us parents of our furry friends! She did surgery on my dog and was so attentive to her and my needs! She made me feel so calm in a scary situation! She takes her time and explains all she will do! If you are looking for an animal doctor, then Carolina Equine Clinic and Dr. McKinnon and her staff is who you need! And I drive from Irmo/Chapin to Aiken just to see her!!

Dr. Laura McKinnon is absolutely wonderful! She cares so deeply for my animals and is so knowledgeable. She provides exceptional care and I am so lucky to have found her! Highly recommend!
