Care Center - Cincinnati (CARE)

We had a successful TPLO surgery for my dog at the Care Center, performed by surgeon Eric Rowe. It’s been a challenging eight weeks of recovery, but my dog now has a “new” leg, and we’re so grateful for his skill and the excellent outcome. The veterinary assistants were incredibly warm and loving, making her wag her tail happily even when she wasn’t feeling her best. The price range was moderate — not the cheapest option, but also not the most expensive — and absolutely worth the quality of care we received.

Gus began his journey with care center over 2 years ago when we ran through the door with a dog in respiratory distress after an anaphylactic vaccine reaction realizing he also had a heart condition that was unknown at the time. They took him back immediately and stabilized him. He has since been following with the cardiology team. He’s has had many visits to the emergency room- some urgent, some maybe anxious parents due to his history. Every time he was always triaged, and treated based on his condition. Sometimes he was taken back quickly, and sometimes we had to wait for a while (but those times we were thankful we weren’t running in with a dog barely breathing and happy to be in a place where we weren’t the emergency.) everyone has always been so kind in every situation, the doctors

We came home to my 17 yo cat meowing in pain and dragging her back leg. Knowing her age, and prognosis with quality of life, we knew we were looking at compassionate euthanasia. With it being a Sunday I knew I'd have to travel to an emergency vet. I called and was told they could help. They were very open with their pricing. I didn't wait at all when I arrived. All the staff were incredible. They were kind, compassionate, and caring. They treated us with respect and my Gypsy's final hour was calm and peaceful. They made sure I understood the process and gave me as much time as I wanted. I elected to bring my pet home, they wrapped her neatly in a box with a pad inside. I was given paw and nose prints as well. As awful as it was, we recieved excellent and compassionate.

Early 11/23/25 I had to say goodbye to my cat Punkin. The staff at the care center were amazing from the minute I walked through the door. They allowed me as much time as needed to say my final goodbye.Today I received her nose and paw prints, plus 2 tiny bags of her fur.

We were extremely impressed and pleased with the care our frenchie received while in critical care for several days. All the staff were kind and took care of my requests timely. Most impressive were the regular updates and daily calls from the doctor with detailed explanations of current care, how our puppy was responding and next steps. The doctor took the time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend Care Center should you ever find yourself in need of emergency services for your pet.
