Carbon County Friends of Animals

We have visited here several times and it is literally one of the best experiences we have ever had with animals. They treat the cats so well and the level of cleanliness is outstanding. We happily donate to Friends of Animals because of their love and care for the cats. Highly recommend visiting.

We had such an amazing experience at Carbon County Friends of Animals. The staff is extremely friendly. They have a great and clean facility. We recently adopted Chunkers & Bruiser. A big thanks to Rachel and Francine for such a smooth adoption process. 10/10!

I am beyond disgusted and heartbroken over how this shelter treated me. My cat accidentally got out of my home, and I searched for 5 days straight looking everywhere for her calling her name, shaking her food, and doing everything I could to find her. A day later, I saw that the shelter had posted her on Facebook after someone found her and brought her in. As soon as I saw the post, I immediately called to get my cat back. Instead of helping reunite me with my pet, I was accused of “abandoning” her. That is completely false. My cat escaped she was not abandoned. I was actively searching for her for days and trying to bring her home as soon as I knew where she was. They even renamed her “Sophia” when her name is Daisy. I adopted Smokey and Winnie last week and couldn't be happier. They both need alot of attention for which I was prepared. Smokey loves to be brushed and is becoming a lap cat. Winnie follows me everywhere, talks a lot and sleeps with me. They both are big birdwatchers! Thank you so much.
