Cara's House

Great experience. A lost pit found me and I brought him there. I wanted to keep him but he was obviously well cared for and I knew someone would be missing him. Anyway, whitin an hour the staff at Cara's House were taking care of him. It was obvious to me the staff there really love animals. I will be faithfully donating annually.

I wish I could leave 10 stars! They took my kitten and spayed her, and gave her shots. Saved me hundreds of dollars I could not afford to spend for me to have my healthy baby. The staff was so kind and the blonde girls up front loved on my baby well. Thank you!

My experience was lovely. We were unable to keep a stray cat that we attempted to rescue, I called, and they told me to come that day. Only a couple days before Christmas. Such caring people. While I was there at least 5 animals were surrendered and they took them all in with loving arms. You can really tell that they love what they do.

Went 3 times and was never let in. Couldn't see any animals because they were all in foster homes. Ok. Can I see this dog. No its in foster. We'll how the heck am I to get an animal. People are so rude. I did go back because of it being local to me. And I wanted a kitten. All in foster except some already 1/2 grown kittens. We wanted a little kitten. Shoot anyway we got one that was cute. I like but my goodness this is a little terror. She didn't come out of the bathroom for days and it took weeks to get her to let us pet her. She still hates it and terrorizes everything she sees and if you fuse she starts biting herself fiercely. This cat is so crazy.. we love her but talk about a hand full. She attacks all the time. You have to watch her . Would have to put her up if my grandson came.

Excellent experience! This place has it all together ❤️ I had no idea Louisiana has a majority of kill shelters 😢 a little girl was in need of assistance and they opened up their hearts to help a little pup in desperate need! Animals are Family!!! When she was struck by a car and left in the middle of the road these ladies gave this out of towner a grateful heart for the service they provide and baby girl hope for a life she is truly deserving of! I can't thank them enough.
