This place is amazing. I had my precious June cross the rainbow bridge here after a week of stress and exhaustion trying to get her better. They were amazing and kind and considerate. The vet we worked with is direct and to the point which I very much appreciate. Kate is always wonderful to work with as well and front desk staff are great. Recently my dog cut her paw pad badly, they gave me advice over the phone and got her in first thing the next morning to get it taken care of. She is all stitched up and feeling much better now. They told us what to expect, how to care for her and are always so kind and compassionate towards my dogs. They even cut her nails while she was under sedation and I didn’t even have to ask. We adopted two cats from a shelter and one of them had signs of ringworm within the first week. Our vet was booked and recommended urgent care. Capital Pet Urgent Care was incredibly responsive and got us in right away. They answered our questions thoroughly on how to care for the cats while we waited for the lab results. When the results came back positive, they once again patiently answered our questions and said to call anytime. They promptly were in touch with our vet to transfer the exam and test results. Absolutely incredible urgent vet. I was turned away from Olympia Emergency Vet and called a number they gave me- the receptionist was immediately kind and sweet and said to come in. Every single person I interacted with was kind and thoughtful and was willing to put my pet first. It’s New Year’s Eve and they literally stated an hour and a half after closing to help him. I was able to get my cat taken care of immediately, and me and my kids got to cuddle with him with thankful tears tonight.

I've brought my cat in twice for various issues, and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone needing urgent vet care. I love the price breakdown they give before doing any testing or treatments, and that they take Care Credit. One of the staff walked through my cat's test results and treatment plan in detail before I left, and even took the time to show me how to administer his medication, since I was a little apprehensive about doing it myself at home. Everyone from the front desk staff to the veterinarian were so kind and courteous and really seemed to care about the work they do.

So grateful to have these folks nearby. Staff is very available and express compassion and empathy. I was able to use their diagnostic skills for an important second opinion and even though the clinic is busy, it never seemed like any of the staff were overwhelmed or stretched for time.
