If I could give zero stars, I would. Our family cat, Sunny, was with us for over 14 years. He was healthy, happy, and loved until the Doctor at this so-called “clinic” showed a shocking lack of knowledge, compassion, and professionalism. Instead of treating him with the care he deserved, she judged him simply because he was an outdoor cat. Not every cat is meant to stay indoors—some thrive exploring and roaming. That does not mean they should be treated differently, neglected, or looked down upon. The way we were spoken to was dismissive and cold. Review for Canton Veterinary Clinic I used to think this was a sweet, decent little place to bring animals—definitely seemed more suited for cats than dogs. However, after a few disappointing visits, our most recent experience was truly heartbreaking and has completely changed how we feel about this clinic. We brought in our senior cat who was in very poor condition. Despite his obvious health decline, the staff lacked compassion and didn’t seem to take his condition seriously—possibly because he was an indoor/outdoor cat. They ran some blood work, trimmed his nails, and sent him home, saying he was fine. Unfortunately, his symptoms worsened quickly after that visit. Good vet but she over charges and cares more about making money than the pets themselves. They didn’t want to work with me to help reduce cost so had to find another vet that didn’t require me to over pay for pet services. Update: 2/14/2026 Still overpricing on pet care. As you can see the reply was negative just like the veterinarian. She doesn’t want to work out an affordable price for pet care, just a money hungry clinic that over charges. You’re better off finding a better veterinarian that actually cares about your pets.

We had been a client of Dr. Belisle for several years prior to the Covid pandemic, bringing our two cats yearly for their check-ups. However, after not having seen Dr. Belisle for a few years during lockdown, she had completely changed when we brought our cat in last summer. She was unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional. Almost immediately into the check-up, she called my cat "feral" and too difficult to deal with. Keep in mind, at this point, my cat had NOT hissed, attempted to scratch her, or anything of that nature. Additionally, my cat is NOT feral or violent. He is a 6 year old domesticated Bengal who has never attacked any person. Pre-Covid, Dr. Belisle had seen this cat in multiple yearly check-ups and never said anything so insulting. I’m floored seeing some reviews! since moving to the area, a family friend recommended Dr. Belisle and she is a great vet. She listens to our concerns about the care of our two cats and educates us on care. We had dental work done on my older girl and she is a new cat! We know that we will continue to go to her practice. All of her staff are wonderful and everyone there genuinely cares about the animals that walk through their threshold.
