Canine Confidence Center

We adopted a Rottie from a shelter and enlisted Mike after a few months. We have been working with him for a few months now and we are so thankful for him! Mike evaluated Tank and maked a plan for us to train him. In our experience, that is soooo important. It doesn't help us to have our dog trained and then we cannot replicate the behaviors. Mike trains us to train our dog. Not only that, but knowing we can go on vacation and have Tank spend the time with Mike and his pack reinforcing his training or taking the next step gives us such piece of mind. Mike is great with the dogs and with us and is always available if we have questions. Can't give him enough stars!!!

I adopted a very timid and clearly traumatized 4 year old muttski thinking that love, a comfortable home and a sister dog would eventually help her adjust. I have had shelter dogs all my life, but never like Ella. A trainer, a dog walker and finally an Animal Whisperer suggested Canine Confidence Center as a last resort for Ella. She went to stay with Mike and the amazing pack and finally came out of her shell. From a dog who did not know to be a dog to a happy energetic and even a little mischievous pup! I honestly think Mike was a miracle worker and saved Ella’s life. She has been back a few times since and the videos I get are of a happy, thriving pup having the time of her life! The facilities are amazing with so much for them to do!

We’d worked with other trainers before and were always disappointed. It often felt like they didn’t really love dogs — which should be the most important thing. From the very first meeting with Mike, we knew he was a keeper. His positivity, patience, and genuine love for dogs stood out immediately. Our goal was to help our anxious pup adjust to our daughter moving home with her pittie mix. We weren’t sure how to make it work or where to start, but Mike guided us every step of the way with calm, clear direction and constant encouragement. Over the next few weeks, we saw amazing progress — not just in our dog’s confidence, but in how we handled things as owners. When it came time to bring both dogs together, Mike made what we thought would be a stressful process feel smooth and natural. N

Mike is amazing! We recently adopted a Rottweiler who hasn’t had the best life. Within a few days of bringing him home we saw some unwanted behavior, mainly towards my husband. I started to look for a trainer and came across his website and read all the amazing reviews. So I reached out and he was able to come out quickly to assess our dog. He was great with our dog and answered all of our questions, he gave us homework which was simple and easy for both my husband and I to do. Within a few days we saw a difference in our dog’s behavior. A week later we did another session with Mike to see how well our dog would do with other dogs. Mike took his time and introduced him slowly to other dogs and by the end of the session our dog was running around having a great time with a bunch of dogs. I

Our family recently took in a rescue. As first time dog owners, we reached out for some guidance. Mike brought a ton of fun, positive energy to our session. He strategically gathered needed information to provide useful insights that helped me understand how to be a better dog owner. In addition, he thoroughly demonstrated his training methods, which I observed our dog responding to favorably. I can positively say that Mike promotes confidence in both canines and humans. We are very pleased with our experience.
