My husband and I don’t have enough amazing things to say about Dan & Shari at Canine Case Squad. We contacted them after our three dogs got into a really terrible fight. This fight was so traumatizing for me, in particular, and I was seriously contemplating the heartbreaking decision of finding our newest pack member a new home. As dog parents to three shepherds, my husband and I were worried we wouldn’t find someone willing to take the three of them on. We are very careful with who we allow to care for our dogs and know that not all animal behaviorists/trainers are created equal. We searched extensively for someone who had the credentials, experience, and reputation to give us the best chance at success. The first day we arrived at Dan & Shari’s facility for our consultation, we knew we w
It was our first time owning a cane corso--not realizing the full challenges and unique behaviors of the breed. As she (Venus) started getting older she began getting over protective of my fiancé and I, her toys and food, etc.,. against our senior pitbull, Layla. Then more and more things started setting her off (much later came to find, Layla was instigating too!) and she would attack Layla. The aggression was getting worse and I was having difficulty separating, so Layla was getting hurt. The situation was becoming incredibly stressful to the point we almost considered giving Venus up--but we just couldn't do it. After doing a lot of research, I came across Canine Case Squad and read about Shari and Dan, saw the reviews and finally had a little hope. We went for introductory lessons and
Life-Changing Experience for Our Dog and Family! We can’t thank Canine Case Squad enough for the incredible transformation we’ve seen in our dog. Before working with them, we were dealing with intense leash reactivity and fence fighting with a neighbor’s dog—everyday life had become stressful for all of us. From the very first consultation, Shari and Dan were calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. As certified behaviorists with formal education in applied canine behavior, they used science-based methods to assess our dog, uncover the root causes of her behavior, and create a customized modification plan tailored to her needs. What truly set them apart was their thoughtful, humane approach and their ability to adapt the plan as our dog progressed. They took the time to underst
We are incredibly grateful for Canine Case Squad. When we brought our dogs, 2-year-old female and male puppy, to Shari, Dan, and Cindy five months ago, we thought we were going to need to re-home one of them due to aggression. The training and skills we've learned from the dedicated team at Canine Case Squad have changed all of our lives. Not only have we been able to create an environment for our dogs to coexist, but they are happier and much better behaved. They helped us to understand treat one dog's anxiety and the other's overbearing behavior. Now, our dogs get along and we humans have the skills and understanding to make sure this continues. Our dogs are living happier, safer lives, and we have skills in understanding their behavior that make us better "dog parents."
Canine Case Squad has completely changed our life with Mochi. They were able to help us successfully work with and understand issues/behaviors like separation anxiety & resource guarding, that we had had no luck with other trainers in the past. We now understand the structure and consistency she needs, and she has become a new dog! I cannot recommend them enough!!! Thank you Dan & Shari!
