I can’t thank the Cacapon Veterinary Medical Center team enough for the care, expertise and compassion they showed us during a very difficult time with our dog, Buster. For the past four months, Buster was in and out of the vet clinic dealing with kidney issues. As a very anxious dog mom, they never once made me feel like I was too much and were very compassionate during our time there. Dr. Spaid is a very knowledgeable and dedicated vet. I felt that he was honest, reassuring and very passionate about what he does. He also has a great staff who I felt went above and beyond for Buster and I. Lori was extremely kind, supportive, and so helpful during these past few months. She even FaceTimed me with Buster while he was in the hospital over the weekend, so I could see how he was doing. I am so happy to have changed to this wonderful place. They go above and beyond for your fur babies. And also handle crazy cats, that tear the computer monitor off the wall, trying to get away during checkups! Thank you all so much for the best care.

Long post, but know that it is made with the best intentions. I want to save someone else baby from suffering like ours did. My parents and myself have always used Cacapon Veterinary Medicine (in Capon Bridge) for the last 20 years. Through numerous animals including cows we were supporters of his practice. Last week my Sally became very I’ll for no reason. After 2 visits to the vets office and numerous tests my parents were told they could find nothing wrong she need antibiotics and a bland diet. They were charged nearly a thousand dollars for these tests and their medical knowledge. My parents felt as though they were not being heard and decided to look for a new vet after the second visit and being told she was ok and dismissed. The staff here is very compassionate, caring and very understanding, gave me a clearer understanding of the nature of my fur babies condition and my options. Did not in any way shape or form bully me and my husband into test, was open and honest about the price, and I don't know why but the atmosphere and the respect we received as soon as we walked in the door, felt safe, felt like home.
